TOWN OF STAMFORD
The Town of Stamford is located in the northern part of the county and borders Schoharie County. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 48.6 square miles and a 2010 Census population of 2,267 people. The town includes the villages of Hobart and Stamford as well as the hamlet of South Kortright.
